Fisher Fellows Program

FF Promo Flyer 2016Attention first-generation students! If you’re interested in taking part in the many incredible extracurricular programs that Dornsife offers, but don’t have the resources to do so, the Fisher Fellowship Program is for you.

The Fisher Fellowship is the firsFF Promo Flyert program at USC Dornsife that enables first-generation students with financial needs to fully participate in the enrichment opportunities that are at the heart of the college. Students selected for this program will receive between $6,000 and $10,000, which may be used over a three-year period to participate in programs that involve international travel or field research, such as study abroad or Problems Without Passports. Additionally, Fisher Fellows will choose a service project each year that gives back to a selected community, which may include partnerships with local and global nonprofits like Habitat for Humanity, Oxfam, or the Sierra Club.

To be eligible, students must:

  • Have a 3.0 cumulative USC GPA or better
  • Be a first-generation student: applicant is the first person in their family to attend college
  • Have demonstrated financial need
  • Be a freshman at the time of application
  • Have declared a major in the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences
