Internship opportunity- USC Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies

Social Media Intern – The USC Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies is seeking a USC undergraduate or graduate intern for the 2014 spring semester to assist with social media marketing initiatives that will support the Wrigley Institute’s Undergraduate Programs, including but not limited to the 2014 Spring Break program on the Science of Sustainable (SoS) Food (http://dornsife.usc.edu/wrigley/springbreak-sosfood/). The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrated experience with social media tools, and the ability to take creative initiative. The candidate must also be available during the week of spring break (Mar 17-22, 2014) to participate in the SoS Food Program at the Wrigley Marine Science Center (WMSC) on Catalina Island. Hours outside of the spring break week are flexible, although the candidate must be available to work a minimum of 1-2 hours/week. This is an unpaid internship, but the candidate will receive free transportation to and from the island, as well as housing and meals at the WMSC during the week of spring break. At the end of the 2014 spring semester, extension of the internship or reassignment as a work-study is negotiable. Please send a cover letter and resume to Dr. Diane Kim at dianekim@usc.edu.
