The Queens’ College Cambridge – USC Exchange Program

The Queens’ College Cambridge – USC Exchange program is an opportunity for one USC student to study abroad at Queens’ College, a constituent college of the University of Cambridge, during their final fall semester of undergraduate study. USC students expecting to graduate in December 2014 or May 2015 are invited to apply and earn a semester of transfer credit toward graduation.

The University of Cambridge is one of the most eminent and longstanding higher education institutions. Queens’ College, one of the University’s 31 distinct colleges, sits on both sides of the River Cam and has its two halves joined by the famous Mathematical Bridge.

Eligible applicants are USC juniors with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.75 and an expected graduation date of December 2014 or May 2015. Interested students will complete an online application, submit two faculty letters of recommendation, and provide an 800 word statement of purpose by January 22, 2014. Finalists will be selected by a campus faculty panel for interviews in early February.

Juniors already near degree completion and with mostly elective coursework remaining are best suited for this program because transferability of coursework can be complex as Queens’ is on a quarter system.  To view a list of possible program of study click here.  I am happy to meet with interested students to discuss potential options and determine if the program is a good fit for them.
