Developmental Origins of Health and Disease: The Developing Mind

Friday, December 14, 2012. 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM @ Saban Auditorium

The theme for this year’s symposium is Developmental Origins of Health and Disease: The Developing Mind. We have a spectacular line up of speakers, including a special videotaped message from Cheryl Saban, PhD; Friday Grand Rounds Keynote Speaker, Alan E. Guttmacher, MD, Director of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development; and a lunch celebration, honoring Floyd H. Gilles, MD. This year’s Symposium kicks off a series of events in the coming months to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Cheryl Saban, PhD, Haim Saban and The Saban Family Foundation’s transformative gift to The Saban Research Institute.
*Please note: Grand Rounds will be held in the Saban Auditorium for the Symposium in honor of Dr. Cheryl and Haim Saban and The Saban Family Foundation’s sponsorship of this important event. Additionally, this event officially marks the beginning of the 10-year anniversary celebration of the Saban’s historic generosity to name The Saban Research Institute.
