Paid Tutoring Opportunity

Good afternoon,

I work with a non-profit organization called Communities In Schools at
Clinton Middle School and we are looking for academic tutors. We run an
afterschool tutoring program sponsored by United Way, in which students
receive instructional based tutoring in math and English. Each tutoring
session meets once a week–once a week for math and once a week for
English for 1.5 hours each, and each session is taught by one of Clinton’s
teachers.

We would like to extend this tutoring opportunity to USC students who
would gain invaluable experience working within a school. Transportation
should not be difficult–our school is right next to USC on Hill Street.
We are looking for two tutors per session, so four tutors in all. They
will work closely with each other and with the teacher to provide
one-on-one support for students and assist the teacher with his/her
lesson. Tutors will be compensated $12 per hour.

We would like to post an ad for students, but I am not sure where we can
do so. Could we post an ad on the Dornsife .hub website? Is there a
newsletter we could post an ad in?
