SCIENCE TEACHER POSITION AT LEPORT SCHOOLS – TEACHING CREDENTIALS NOT REQUIRED

ABOUT LEPORT SCHOOLS:
At LePort Schools we are creating the type of world where students love to learn, and an academic environment in which children and adults alike have the time of their lives. LePort Schools (www.LePortSchools.com), founded over a decade ago, is an exciting and growing company of private schools in Orange County. We teach over 600 students, from infants through 8th grade, at our six beautiful Orange County campuses.

Our elementary and junior high school program starts with an authentic Montessori environment (combined-age setting for grades 1-3), and then transitions into individual-grade classrooms for upper elementary/junior high (grades 4-8). For upper elementary and junior high, we have developed and are employing our own sequential academic curriculum. Throughout, we place an emphasis on personal development to help prepare our students to excel in the most challenging high school environment after they graduate, as well as equip them for their future chosen adventures in life. We maintain small classes emphasizing individual attention, and provide a warm learning environment that attracts bright, well-mannered students and informed parents.

LePort offers competitive private school salaries in addition to health insurance, a retirement plan, and generous childcare discounts. We foster an inspiring and open work environment, where dynamic, ambitious individuals challenge and learn from each other as a collegial team of educators. We value passionate professionals who care about their subject matter, care about their students, and view teaching as a serious and joyous profession. We love where we work and what we do—and we’re seeking someone special to join us in experiencing both the great effort and the incredible rewards that come with being a teacher.
